One of the biggest differences between DIY Christmas lights and a professional installation is what happens after the lights go up. A section goes dark, a windstorm knocks a strand loose, a timer stops cooperating — with Holiday Light Professionals, one phone call fixes it. Here’s how in-season maintenance works for our Denver-area customers.
It’s included with every installation
Every Holiday Light Professionals installation includes all-season maintenance at no extra charge. If anything goes wrong with your display between installation and January takedown, you call us — we don’t.
What we fix
- Burned-out or dim bulbs: we replace them, usually the same week you call
- Storm damage: Front Range wind and heavy snow can loosen clips or strands — we re-secure everything
- Timer issues: if your display isn’t coming on at the right time, we reprogram or replace the timer
- Loose cords or connections: we re-route and weatherproof any exposed connections
How to request a maintenance visit
Call 303-676-8005 and describe what’s happening — which section is out, what the timer is doing, or what the storm did. We’ll schedule a crew visit, typically within a few business days. You don’t need to be home as long as the crew has roofline access; we’ll confirm everything is glowing before we leave.
Why professional-grade equipment matters
We install commercial-grade C9 LED bulbs and professional clips rated for Colorado winters — not retail-store strands. That means fewer failures in the first place: better weatherproofing, stronger connections, and clips designed to grip gutters and shingles through freeze-thaw cycles. When something does need attention, our crews carry replacement parts on the truck.
Maintenance ends with January takedown
When the season wraps, we return in January, remove every light, clip, cord, and timer, and store your display in our facility until next year. Call 303-676-8005 or visit mylightpros.com for a free estimate and get maintenance-backed installation on your Denver home’s 2026 calendar.
