Thornton is one of the fastest-growing cities in the Denver metro, and every December it shows its holiday spirit. From the established neighborhoods east of I-25 to the newer communities around Thorncreek, Trail Winds, and Hunters Glen, homes across Thornton light up with everything from simple roofline runs to full-property displays.
If you’re a Thornton homeowner who’s tired of spending a freezing weekend on a ladder — or staring at a half-dead strand on Christmas Eve — professional Christmas light installation is the way to go.
Holiday Light Professionals is now booking the 2026 season across Thornton and the north Denver metro. We provide full-service temporary Christmas light installation — design, installation, in-season maintenance, January takedown, and storage — plus Govee Pro permanent outdoor-light installation for year-round color.
Why Thornton Homes Are Made for Professional Displays
Thornton’s housing mix keeps our design team busy. East Thornton ranches suit a clean C9 roofline run, while newer two-story homes with gables and dormers reward layered design — ridge lines, gable outlines, entry framing, and lit garland. A free design consultation walks your property and maps a display to your architecture, so your lights look intentional, not improvised.
What Full-Service Installation Actually Includes
Full-service means you never touch a ladder. Our team handles custom design, commercial-grade C9 LED lighting, custom-fit strands cut to your roofline, programmed timers, in-season maintenance, January takedown, and off-season storage. If a bulb goes out mid-season, we fix it.
Timers: Your Display on Autopilot
Every display we install runs on a programmed timer. Your lights come on at dusk and off at your chosen time — no plugging and unplugging in the cold, no displays glowing at 3 a.m.
HOA Considerations in Thornton
Many Thornton neighborhoods have HOAs with rules about when displays can go up and come down, and which colors are allowed. We install within HOA windows, design within color guidelines, and guarantee January takedown well before deadlines — so you never get the letter.
Temporary Christmas Lights or Govee Pro Permanent Lighting?
Temporary Christmas lights give you the classic seasonal transformation — a full holiday display that appears in November and disappears in January. Govee Pro permanent lighting is the install-once option: a discreet, phone-controlled system that handles Christmas in December and game-day colors, patio lighting, and security accents the rest of the year. Many Thornton homeowners pair both.
October Is Booking Season for 2026
October is when the 2026 season gets booked. Early booking locks in your preferred installation window before Colorado snow arrives and before the calendar fills. Waiting until December usually means settling for whatever slots remain.
The Full-Service Difference
Free design consultation and estimate. Professional installation by trained, insured crews. In-season maintenance. January takedown. Off-season storage. No ladders, no tangled strands, no half-dead strings on Christmas Eve.
